In this module, we’ll delve into the key differences between accommodations and modifications, exploring how each plays a role in the IEP and classroom setting. Participants will learn how to effectively implement these supports, ensuring they align with students’ individualized goals.

 This module will focus on the concept of related services, which are vital supports recognized both inside and outside the classroom. We will explore what qualifies as a related service—from transportation and audiology to various therapies—and discuss how these services contribute to a student's overall educational experience. Participants will gain insights into the role of related services in the IEP and how they support students in achieving their individualized goals. 

 In this final module of the Para Series, we’ll focus on key practices and observations essential for paraprofessionals in the classroom. Topics will include understanding and providing appropriate levels of assistance, ensuring proper seating and positioning, following classroom codes, and other effective strategies. This hands-on session is designed to equip paraprofessionals with practical tools to enhance their support role and create a positive, structured learning environment for students.
